Magic Sleek is a formaldehyde-free keratin smoothing treatment that reduces frizz, cuts styling time, and leaves hair smooth and shiny for a few months, depending on your aftercare. It uses no formaldehyde and no aldehyde derivatives, and produces no chemical fumes during application.

How Magic Sleek Works

The treatment infuses a blend of proteins and amino acids into the hair shaft. A flat iron seals the formula at a controlled temperature for a smooth, frizz-free finish. The result is not pin-straight like Japanese straightening. Magic Sleek gives a sleeker finish than a Brazilian Blowout while keeping some body and movement.

It is one of our longer appointments, so tell us your goals when you book and we will reserve the right amount of time. You will leave the salon with finished, styled hair. A 48-hour waiting period before washing is required to allow the treatment to fully set.

Magic Sleek
Works into the hair shaft for a sleeker, smoother result than a Brazilian Blowout. Magic Sleek is formaldehyde-free. If you are pregnant or have chemical sensitivities, check with your doctor first and tell us at your consultation.
Brazilian Blowout
Works on the outside of the hair strand for the softer result of the two. It keeps more volume and natural wave.

Magic Sleek works on all hair types including color-treated, highlighted, and natural hair. It is especially useful for clients in Westchester County dealing with frizz in humid summer months. Thick, coarse, or curly hair usually shows the biggest drop in frizz. Fine-haired clients benefit from the added shine and reduced styling time.
